O Doutrinador berkisah tentang Miguel, seorang agen federal yang hidupnya berubah total setelah tragedi pribadi yang menghancurkan. Dipenuhi rasa duka dan kekecewaan terhadap sistem yang gagal, ia mengambil identitas vigilante bertopeng untuk membalas dan menegakkan keadilan dengan caranya sendiri, menyerang politisi serta pengusaha korup yang merugikan rakyat jelata di Brasil. Hook-nya muncul dari ketegangan antara kehendak balas dendam pribadi dan dampak sosial dari tindakannya: apakah keadilan dapat ditegakkan oleh seseorang yang berada di luar hukum?
