Di planet Eternia, kekacauan terjadi ketika Skeletor dan pasukan gelapnya merebut Kastil Grayskull untuk mencuri kekuatan Sang Penyihir. He-Man, bersama sahabatnya Duncan dan putrinya Teela, bertarung melawan pasukan jahat itu dan menyelamatkan Gwildor, penemu kunci kosmik yang dikhianati oleh Evil-Lyn. Dengan kunci tersebut, mereka berusaha membebaskan Sang Penyihir, namun dikalahkan Skeletor dan terpaksa melarikan diri ke Bumi melalui portal. Sayangnya, kunci itu hilang dan ditemukan oleh Julie, seorang gadis yang masih berduka atas kehilangan orang tuanya. Saat Evil-Lyn melacak keberadaan kunci itu, Skeletor mengirim pasukannya untuk menghancurkan He-Man dan merebutnya kembali. Akankah pahlawan Eternia ini berhasil menghentikan rencana jahat Skeletor sebelum terlambat?
