Sue Charlton, seorang reporter New York, terpesona oleh kisah petualangan Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee, pemburu tangguh yang selamat dari serangan buaya raksasa. Ia pun terbang ke Australia untuk menemui sang legenda di pedalaman liar Walkabout Creek. Di antara bahaya dan percikan romansa, Sue yakin tak ada yang lebih menantang daripada kehidupan kota besar.
