Dari puing-puing desanya yang hancur, Conan kecil menyaksikan pembantaian keluarganya oleh Thulsa Doom, penyihir kejam pengikut dewa ular. Diperbudak dan dipaksa berlatih sebagai gladiator, dia tumbuh menjadi mesin pembunuh yang tak terkalahkan.
